Butler Parachute Systems has an Engineering department that controls the design and testing of standard and custom products produced by the company. The engineering staff is proficient in parachute design, computer modeling, FEA analysis, 2D and 3D software packages, test analysis and instrumentation, and configuration control.

Our engineering staff can design systems to meet extreme requirements, such as low volume, high weight, high speed, minimum altitude loss, high altitude deployments and other non-standard operating environments.

BPS specializes in custom design projects, and our engineers and technical staff have experience integrating parachute systems to all kinds of personnel, space, weapons, UAV, aircraft and cargo delivery systems. Our engineers work closely with our production, rigging and test staff to ensure our products meet the highest design and quality standards in the industry.
