Since 1979, Butler Parachutes has been a global leading manufacturer in the Parachute Industry. As a growing business, we are seeking a Materials Coordinator to help oversee the large growth in incoming raw materials. In this role, you will help develop and apply strong organizational systems that allow for traceability of all materials and corresponding documentation. This will lead to Production having the materials they need at the right time, eliminating bottlenecks in the Production process and creating a more robust manufacturing program.
Job Summary:
The Materials Coordinator handles and controls raw materials including dispensing and sampling operations. Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials to production and ensuring the correct inventory levels are maintained. Additional duties include receiving goods from suppliers, full circle material documentation, raw material sampling, inventory control, dispensing, packaging and labeling of finished product. Prepares and maintains documentation for all internal and external transactions on computer and within Butler’s filing system. They perform all duties as outlined in QSM and Operating Procedures
