Sewing Machine Worker
Salary: Depends on Experience

Floor Supervisor/Manager
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 | Full Benefits
Status: Full-time | No weekends
To oversee and manage production employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. Will oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift. Will maintain knowledge of processes and equipment and ensure that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly. Troubleshoots issues that arise and ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly. Requires thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery, excellent supervisory and leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior production work experience with preferred.
Sewing Mechanic / Maintenance Worker
Salary: 20.00 - 25.00
Status: Full-time | No weekends
General Maintenance Worker
Butler Parachute Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Full-Time General Maintenance Worker to assist with installation, maintenance, and light general repair duties for facilities. Some janitorial duties to include emptying trash and recyclables, sweeping, etc. Applicant should have a basic understanding of maintenance work and be able to accurately read a ruler.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- General electrical skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to accurately read a ruler.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Related experience preferred.
- On-the-job training offered.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Machinist / Fabricator
Salary: 25.00 - 30.00
Status: Full-time | No weekends
Job Summary:
The Machinist will operate machine tools to fabricate and manufacture machine parts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates fabrication machinery to produce parts used in manufacturing processes.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
- Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines.
- Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
- Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area.
- Complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
